Misting is a frequent problem on double-glazed units. This can be due to age of the unit or sometimes by incorrect fitting. Water vapour passing through the edge seals will eventually saturate the desiccant material contained in the perforated alloy or plastic spacer bars around the perimeter, resulting in internal misting. Window Repair involves the replacement of the failed glass pane or unit.
